Aim of the Workshop:

• The main aim of the proposed workshop is to provide an opportunity to students, research scholars and faculties in the region in particular of JMI to get an exposure of exciting field of gravitation and cosmology.

• The workshop will also provide an impetus to teachers who are looking for an area to do research. It would give them a modern perspective to understand and which will help them in teaching these subjects to the students.

• Those who are already initiated in research in this field, it would provide a good opportunity for interaction with the internationally renowned scientists.

• Above all, it is intended to create an academically charged and conducive environment for research students and faculties of JMI.
