FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

 

This is first announcement of the 24th IAGRG meeting, to be held at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi.

The meeting will focus on the recent advances in Gravitation and Cosmology:

  • Classical General Relativity and Gravitational Waves

  • Cosmology

  • Quantum gravity and string theory

 

DURATION OF THE MEETING

The meeting will begin in the morning of Monday, February 5, 2007 and end on Thursday, February 8, 2007. The IAGRG meeting will begin with invited reviews in the morning sessions and contributed presentations in parallel workshops. We hope to have ample time for discussions. Young researchers are especially encouraged to participate.

End of October 2006: First announcement (Registration form, requests for presentation and accommodation) End of December 2006: Second announcement , deadline for registration, contributions and accommodation and final announcement. We expect participants to get financial support from their parent institutions. However, limited travel and local support might be available for young researchers.
